Constable Charlie Burch has lived in Mobile since 2001 and lived in the area since 1993. He has worked in various capacities with the Mobile County Constable Office since 2006 and served as Constable since 2012. In 2009 he was awarded the President’s Award by the National Constables Association. He also currently serves as a Cavalry Scout Non-Commissioned Officer in the Florida Army National Guard. As a soldier he was deployed to the Middle East in 2021 and to southeast Asia in 2025. He regularly attends various first responder training. Some current certifications include:

- Technical Transportation of of Hazardous Materials – National Guard Professional Education Center

- NRA Refuse To Be A Victim® Instructor – National Rifle Association
Constable Burch maintains membership in the National Constables and Marshals Association, the Alabama Public Safety Drone Association, the National Rifle Association and others.
